Turkey Provides Free Health Service in Galkayo
Doctors have Treated an Estimate of 1500 People

At least 14 foreign doctors who are Turkish origin reached in Galkayo town located about 700 km (435 miles) northwest of the Somali capital, Mogadishu to volunteer heath care services, including surgery.

The doctors, who were specialist of varies field in medical,have treated an estimate of 1500 people, 150 received surgery in Galkayo city of Mudug region, according to the Medics.

“Turkish doctors began their health services on Friday morning, and today is fourth day for their trips, thousands others are planning to receive medicals," Abdi Noor, a Health care worker told Somalia Report.

"Then on Tuesday the doctors are expecting to go to Garowe, the capital city of Puntland," he said, adding "We really appreciate the support that the Turkish government provided for us.”

Dr Ali Abdulaahi Warsame, Puntland's minister of Health told reporters that the Turkish doctors treated last three days about hundred patients.
